Nearly seventy per cent of the world's Christians live in the Global South today, and the share should reach seventy-eight per cent by 2050. Thirty years ago the ratio ran the other way. The shift is not coming. It has happened, and most of the infrastructure of Christian leadership, theological and financial and now digital, has not caught up. The digital lag is the widest.
Training data is a kitchen too.

Roughly eighty per cent of the world's people prefer oral to text-based engagement with Scripture, and that majority is now meeting a technology assembled out of text and trained on a narrow slice of available voices. A model that has heard almost no Yoruba, Quechua or Mongolian will serve those churches badly, and it will do it invisibly, in fluent English.
